Infrared Saunas are an effective tool for natural healing and prevention. Hypnosis is definitely not someone else controlling your mind. Being hypnotized does not mean you’re weak willed or gullible.
I love it when someone says they can’t be hypnotized. What they’re really saying is they can’t follow directions. The hypnotist does not control anyone; they guide them through a gateway to their unconscious mind. The only way you can be hypnotized is to allow yourself to follow the hypnotist’s suggestions.
In fact, the more intelligent and creative you are, the more likely you are to go into hypnosis easily and for it to be effective.
And don’t worry; hypnosis can only be used to help you accept suggestions that align with your unconsciously held values. So no one can make you do anything that goes against what you believe in.

I have you use your unconscious mind verses your conscious mind to choose the pictures that will go on your board. Instead of things out like a car, a boat or a stack of money you will choose pictures that you are attracted to. Then we will use a feeling process to narrow down the pictures.

Core Yoga is an all-levels class that takes Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga and influences it with various movement disciplines such as Pilates and dance. This is a yoga class with extra emphasis on posture, alignment, core strengthening, gracefulness… and the beauty and joy of moving.

Mindful Moves on Mondays is a great way to start your week! Learn how to move your body safely through various asanas to create a space of mindfulness. Breathing techniques (pranayama) will be explored to help decrease stress. Essential oils will be used to enhance the present moment. Explore your senses to bring more awareness to the now, releasing worry of the past and fear of the future. By allowing the mind to be cleared, positive affirmations will be shared to increase their effects. All levels are welcome.

Restorative Vinyasa Yoga class takes a gentler and more restorative approach throughout the flow sequences to open, relax and rejuvenate the body and mind.

Vinyasa Power Flow Yoga is an energetic and higher intensity yoga class where students fluidly move from one pose to the next while connecting the breath to the movement. This class incorporates strength, flexibility, balance, and physical and mental stamina, while offering variations to modify, intensify, or challenge the body and mind!

Mindfulness & Meditation includes studies and teachings to help develop greater clarity in our mindfulness. Meditation reduces stress, lowers blood pressure, and is effective in working with depression, anxiety, and anger. Ultimately, we practice meditation in order to realize and reconnect with our true nature, our true self.
Tuesdays 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm
Gentle Yoga & Meditation restores balance and flexibility. In this class we practice relaxing and reviving postures that help quiet the mind and gently rejuvenate the body, with a focus on inner awareness. This allows for deeper stretching and slower breathing, helping us to move beyond pain, stiffness and injuries to restore greater movement and ease. Class ends with a 15 minute guided meditation.

Gentle Uplifting Yoga consists of a mindful Vinyasa Flow which will increase overall strength and flexibility, while reducing any stress. We will begin with some breath work so that you are centered and present. The class will end with a relaxing Savasana along with an uplifting, spiritual message. All levels are welcome.

Tai Chi is an internal energy practice for health, strength and relaxation, and is often considered as meditation in motion bringing together mind, body and spirit as one. As a passive martial art, Tai Chi is rooted in the basic values of all martial arts; respect for self and respect for others.
The many health benefits of Tai Chi include decreased blood pressure, pain reduction from arthritis and other types of joint pain, and a grounded sense of well-being!

This class will explore the exciting field of Spiritual Awakening and Awareness! As we reach for guidance, this class will shine light on the tools and resources that are available to everyone. You will be given methods to discover and explore your personal and intuitive gifts.

Kundalini Yoga consists of exercise and breathing techniques that can be practiced by anyone, regardless of age or physical ability. It strengthens the body and promotes flexibility, activating and circulating the life force energy flowing through the body. This promotes relaxation, self-healing, personal and spiritual growth. A complete system, Kundalini yoga includes posture, breath, mental focus, music, mantra, visualization, meditation and deep relaxation. Benefits include postural alignment, strengthening of the nervous system, and a balanced glandular system. Sometimes called “The Yoga of Awareness,” the experience is calming, energizing, elevating and expansive, promoting health and a profound sense of well-being. Each class follows a similar format, beginning with brief explanations and “tuning-in,” followed by warm-ups, an exercise set, deep relaxation, meditation, and closing.

Feel Good Yoga is open to all levels. There is meditation, pranayama (breath), and asanas that cultivate the union of the mind and the body. Let your breath be your guide during this class as you move your body through asanas (postures). Allow each pose to fulfill you, to increase strength and flexibility, as you do what feels good for you in that present moment. Let’s find a balance in being strong and letting go, being present and being hopeful, and most importantly, feeling good.

Strength Building Yoga focuses on combining strength & flexibility while practicing various poses, and is open to all levels. Poses (or asanas) range from gentle twists and stretches to standing poses to arm balances and inversions. Feel the power that is within you!

Let Go! Breathwork & Meditation will start with pranayama (breath work) to help center and quiet the mind. Through conscious breathwork, we can breathe through anything whether it is emotional pain or physical. There will be a guided meditation as you close your eyes. Emotions usually arise from a place of perception in our own mind. Through practice of meditation, we can change the pattern of our thinking so that we can begin to feel more content with all around us and live mindfully as well as joyfully in the moment.

Stretch & Strength Chair Yoga is a gentle form of yoga that is practiced sitting on a chair, or standing using a chair for support. Each student is encouraged to bring a set of light hand weights, and a Stretch Band. Improve your strength, flexibility, and mobility through standing or seated yoga poses special adapted for seniors at any level of health and fitness. Family Yoga & Art is a fantastic place to come together to experience the union of yoga and art with our families! This class will explore a connected theme through stories, songs, yoga, and art. What better way to deepen your family connection than to cultivate creativity and have fun doing yoga! Half of the class will be a hands-on-art project, and half the class will be spent doing physical activity. All ages are welcome.

Good Vibe Yoga & Meditation will enhance your weekend routine with a peaceful yoga flow and breathwork class, that will balance the senses and calm the mind. The class will end with meditation, providing a wonderful way to prepare for the week ahead.

You will gain knowledge of the history of Yang Family form of Tai Chi learning foundation fundamentals. Level One contains all the forms up to and including the construction of The First Section, right and left sides. The Two Person Practices are also taught from the beginning. You will learn the health benefits and also the martial arts benefits. By the time you complete Level One of the Yang Family form, your body should change considerably. Your joints will function more smoothly and securely, your posture will be corrected and you will be breathing more fully in a coordinated fashion and you will develop a new way to move using your whole body which will become firmly rooted to the ground.
Level Two begins with a new method of practicing Pushing Hands called “Two Hand Pushing Hands” incorporating “Ward Off and Push” as a two person practice. Your hips must move fluidity in order to perform Two Hand Pushing Hands correctly. You will then begin learning the Individual Forms that are included in Second Section. Second Section builds on your rooting, foundation and introduces more variations and movements giving you more endurance, control, extension of your breathing and by mediation your internal power will develop stronger.
Level Three contains, completes, and connects the remainder of the Yang Family 108 Long Form of Tai Chi . The primary components of Level Three is Third Section. However, in this level, a large percentage of the material is dealing directly with the aspect of the Yang Family Tai Chi martial art applications for those students who have an interest. Fair Lady Works at Shuttles form is the main Third Section addition and introduces Upward and Downward movements combined with diagonal movements. Roll Hands, 6 Kinds, is an extremely important subset and must be practiced totally as a unit. Do not pick and choose which ones you like more. All 6 must be practiced equally to insure equal proficiency. These Roll Hands Parts are in preparation for Methods of Roll Hands in Level Four. 5 Style Steps and all its variations is of great importance in the big picture since 5 Style Steps can be combined with nearly every other form. In a fighting situation or while practicing your Two Person Practice, smooth 5 Style Steps will prove to be invaluable.
Level Four you will learn some of the most potent Two Person Practices. We will start with 4 Forms Pushing Hands which gives you applications for using Ward Off, Roll Back, Press, and Push forms. Yang Family form “Style” has a very specific order and structure for learning and practicing all the Two Person Practices. Next in Level Four we come to what is named The Yang Family martial art form. This subset is important because it helps create the physical aspects of the form.
