Our instructors are highly trained and share a deep love and respect for the practice of yoga which truly makes a difference. Our teachers are here to support you and your wellness journey.

Please check in at the front desk when you arrive. There are cubbies to store your shoes and belongings. If you need to rent or purchase a yoga mat we have them available at the center. We provide blocks if needed at no additional charge. Please inform the instructor of any pre-existing conditions or if you are pregnant prior to the start of class. It is best to practice on an empty stomach, drink plenty of water before class to remain hydrated throughout your practice.

Commit to at least 5 classes before you decide if Yoga is right for you. This way you get the full benefits of the practice before making a decision. The more often you practice the more the benefits will come. Once you have yoga in your life you will never want to be without it.

Kundalini Yoga

Kundalini Yoga consists of exercise and breathing techniques that can be practiced by anyone, regardless of age or physical ability. It strengthens the body and promotes flexibility, activating and circulating the life force energy flowing through the body. This promotes relaxation, self-healing, personal and spiritual growth. A complete system, Kundalini yoga includes posture, breath, mental focus, music, mantra, visualization, meditation and deep relaxation. Benefits include postural alignment, strengthening of the nervous system, and a balanced glandular system. Sometimes called “The Yoga of Awareness,” the experience is calming, energizing, elevating and expansive,  promoting health and a profound sense of well-being. Each class follows a similar format, beginning with brief explanations and “tuning-in,” followed by warm-ups, an exercise set, deep relaxation, meditation, and closing.

Tuesdays 10:30 am – 12:30 pm, Wednesdays 7:00 pm – 8:45 pm

Mindfulness & Meditation

Mindfulness & Meditation includes studies and teachings to help develop greater clarity in our mindfulness. Meditation reduces stress, lowers blood pressure, and is effective in working with depression, anxiety, and anger. Ultimately, we practice meditation in order to realize and reconnect with our true nature, our true self.

Tuesdays 5:30 pm – 6:45 pm

Gentle Yoga & Meditation

Gentle Yoga & Meditation restores balance and flexibility. In this class we practice relaxing and reviving postures that help quiet the mind and gently rejuvenate the body, with a focus on inner awareness. This allows for deeper stretching and slower breathing, helping us to move beyond pain, stiffness and injuries to restore greater movement and ease. Class ends with a 15 minute guided meditation.

Tuesdays 7:00 pm – 8:15 pm, Fridays 9:00 am – 10:15 am, and Sundays 7 pm – 8:15 pm

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is suitable for all levels, and is wonderful for athletes and dancers. We hold specific poses from 45 seconds to 2 or more minutes to stretch our connective tissues, thus increasing circulation and improving flexibility.  Doing this type of yoga will deepen your connection to your body and inner being as you become intimate with your feelings, body sensations and emotions.  It can be a type of meditative stretching; so take it to your edge.

Thursdays 7:00 am – 8:00 am

Restorative Yin Yoga

Restorative Yin Yoga calms the mind and body with yoga poses that require no muscular exertion. Each pose is held for several minutes and deeply supported by props – blankets, bolsters, and blocks – to support the body in positions of ease and comfort to restore the nervous system, facilitate relaxation, release tension, holding patterns, and fascial restrictions. Additional benefits include decreased stress, increase circulation, energy flow and flexibility.

During class, you will be guided to mindfully and consciously notice the thoughts and sensations in your body, cultivating new awareness, clarity, and fluidity of motion. No yoga or meditation experience is needed and all levels are welcome.

Experience the art of slowing down, grounding, and reclaiming you!
